CCTV appeal after train conductor assaulted at Greater Manchester station

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to following the incident

Police believe this man may have information that can help them

A train conductor was assaulted while at work at a train station in Tameside. The conductor was struck in the face through an open window just as the train was leaving Hattersley railway station in Hyde on Wednesday, January 15.

British Transport Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man following the incident. Officers have released a CCTV image of the man they believe may have information that can help with their information.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, recognises the man in the image is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 737 of 15 January.
