Tensions between Beijing and Washington rapidly devolved Friday after China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi made his annual address to the press, including foreign journalists, where he fired off a series of broadsides aimed at the US and warned the Trump administration of “retaliatory” action in response to more “arbitrary tariffs”.
