Regina police launch investigation after man found dead in Heritage

A death investigation has begun after a man’s body was discovered in Regina’s Heritage neighbourhood Tuesday evening.

Officers and paramedics were dispatched to the 1500 block of 12th Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. on Feb. 18, according to a Regina Police Service (RPS) news release sent out Wednesday.

“Upon arrival, Police located a deceased adult male,” the release states.

At this early stage of the investigation, there are no further details that will be released to the public. The victim’s name will not be released at this time.”

The investigation is being handled by the RPS along with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.
