Actress Shriya Saran recently attended the grand opening of The Phantom of the Opera at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai. She was spotted arriving for the event with her husband, Andrei Koscheev. While posing for photographs at the red carpet, Shriya shared a kiss with her husband. However, this didn’t go down well with several people on social media. Netizens were quick to take to social media to slam and attack Shriya and Andrei for kissing publicly.
As soon as the video went viral, the comments section was flooded with mixed reactions from netizens. While many slammed her kiss, others lauded for her impeccable fashion choice. “Kuch sharam haya hai?” one comment read. Next user wrote, “Uuuuufffffff kon apni biwi ka gulam hai?” Another comment read, “She has a man and still wants other attention”. Another user posted, “Arrreee kisss choro blink dekho..”
In a recent interview, Shriya Saran had reacted to the negative criticism she has been getting for kissing her husband in public. “It’s kind of funny! Andrei thinks that it’s normal to kiss me during my special moment and I think it’s beautiful. He doesn’t understand why we would be trolled for something so natural. But it is okay, it is fine (laughs)! I don’t read bad comments or react to them. It’s their (trolls) job to write and my job is to avoid them. I only do what I’ve to do,” she had told News18.

We have completed two incredible years here. I had made a promise when we inaugurated NMACC that we would get the best of India to the world and the best of the world to India.
